What to bring
- Pack sack
- Raincoat or poncho (downpours are frequent)
- Boots or comfortable walking shoes
- Sandals, for river crossings or around campsite
- Warm clothing, (a fleece or sweater) for the days/nights on top
- Hat for the sun
- Sleeping bag
- Flashlight
- Sunscreen
- Bathing suit
- Water bottle
- Insect repellent
- Plastic bags for documentation, camera
- extra nuts and chocolate
- and a good dose of humor
Packing:
To better enjoy the hike, pack up to a maximum of 12 kg (25 pounds).
You can also hire the services of a porter

to carry all or part of your personal effects; that way you can better concentrate on taking pictures, or enjoying the scenery.
Although your pack sack says it is waterproof, pack everything in plastic bags inside the pack
